Nissan reveals New Titan XD

The pickup truck segment in the United States is as disputed as the passenger cars (the sales figures are evenly matched, inclusive). Therefore, the Nissan Titan pickup transformed before with similar design to the Brazilian Frontier, a strong picapona as the RAM 2500 (which took imports to Brazil interrupted, but will return with new this year). One of the main highlights of the new generation is the engine 5.0 V8 Cummins Turbo Diesel (will later be available V6 and V8 engines powered by gasoline), combined with an automatic transmission Aisin six-speed. The force is sufficient to more than 900 pounds of load in the bucket and 5443 kg towing capacity. Nissan expects this propellant is 20 % more economical and up to 45 % more torque at cruising speed (compared to the V8 engine other US pickup trucks).

Additional features available include the TITAN XD intelligent mirror RearView Monitor with trailer guides, the monitor Around View Monitor® (AVM) with Moving Object Detection (MOD) and lights checking system that allows a person to connect all operations, including checking arrows, brake lights and other lights outside the vehicle. Also available Blind Spot Warning (BSW), which helps visualize blind spots and the sound system Front and Rear Sonar System. The long list of equipment for the casing includes front and rear seats Zero Gravity, inspired by NASA technology.

Internally, the Titan 2016 XD stands by the banks "Zero Gravity" (as in the Altima), five-inch color display between the instruments, central support ( so wide that can accommodate a laptop with 15-inch screen), steering wheel Adjustment height and distance, integrating the shift rod in his column; multimedia system NissanConnectSM with touch screen seven inches (with services, GPS and connection to mobile device applications), Rockford Fosgate sound system twelve speakers, taken 12 and 120 volts, and front seats with heating and cooling.

In the United States, Titan XD will be offered in Single Cab bodies (single cabin) Crew Cab (extended cab) and King Cab (crew cab), each featuring buckets with three different lengths. The production will take place in Canton plant (Mississippi, USA).
